The Indianapolis Colts continue to scour the free-agent RB market.

This time by working out former Jacksonville Jaguars 1,000-yard rusher James Robinson.

James Robinson was an undrafted free-agency signing by the Jaguars in 2020. He not only would earn a roster spot but would go on to rush for 1,070 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games. He spent two and a half seasons with the Jaguars before being traded to the Jets in the middle of last season. During his time with the Jaguars, he would appear in 35 games, rushing for a total of 2,177 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Injuries and the drafting of Travis Etienne in the 1st round of the 2021 NFL Draft would lead to Robinson's time in Jacksonville ending. Since leaving the Jaguars, Robinson has struggled to stick with a NFL team. After last season, he moved on from the Jets and has already spent time with the Patriots and Giants this offseason.

This workout is especially interesting for the Colts, who happen to play Robinson's former team, the Jaguars, this Sunday. At the moment, they only have two healthy RBs on the active roster, so whether it's from free agency or their own practice squad, a RB must be added before Sunday's game.
