The Indianapolis Colts had another TE sustain an injury during Week 1 as Andrew Ogletree suffered a concussion.

As a result, according to NFL insider Jordan Shultz, the Colts worked out TE Joel Honigford out of the University of Michigan on Monday.

Honigford spent three seasons with the University of Michigan Wolverines. He started his college career as an offensive lineman and later converted to tight end. He only had one total reception during his college career.

It may surprise many that he's landed a workout in the NFL with such little production as a pass catcher. But, he spent training camp with the Arizona Cardinals, which led me to reach out to a team source in Arizona who shared with me that they believed Honigford's ability as a blocker at the TE spot could earn him an NFL opportunity down the road.
