After dropping the ball with the whole world watching during their Week 9 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football, the Colts will look to get back on track as they return home to Indianapolis to host the Buffalo Bills for their Week 10 matchup. But they will have to do without a star offensive player.

The Colts completed their final practice ahead of Week 10 on Friday, and just like on Wednesday and Thursday, star wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. was not out on the field. So it shouldn't surprise anyone that head coach Shane Steichen announced that Pittman Jr. is officially out for the team's matchup with the Bills.

Pittman Jr. has been playing through multiple injuries, but the issue that has been causing him the most issues has been his back. Many believed he was going to be placed on the IR for the same injury ahead of their Week 6 matchup with their divisional rivals the Tennessee Titans. Not only did he go on to play, but he also hauled in a touchdown to give the Colts late in the game, which resulted in a big win.

Though that moment was huge, Pittman Jr. has struggled the last few weeks as he continued to play through his injury. The last two weeks were especially rough with him only catching two of his ten targets for a combined 30 yards. He will now get some needed rest as he sits out during Week 10. We will have to wait and see how long Pittman's absence will be, but personally, I think it would be wise for the team to give him an extended break. They need him to get closer to 100% so he can return to being their top WR as their offense continues to struggle.
