The Indianapolis Colts used the 15th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft on edge rusher Laiatu Latu.
Since then, he's impressed the team at every stage, and many inside the organization are expecting big things from his rookie season.
And while Latu likely has goals for his rookie season, he is already dreaming about the heights he can reach by the end of his NFL career.
Latu has Hall of Fame aspirations, which is exactly what you want to hear if you are a Colts fan. In every interview Latu has had since getting drafted, his love and enthusiasm for the game of football are off the charts. Which shouldn't surprise anyone after he fought through a forced medical retirement in college.
Some would have folded under that level of adversity, but not Latu. He used his year off playing rugby at a high level. And counties to work his way back to the game that truly has his heart, football. Once he had the chance to suit up at UCLA, he made the most of that opportunity and put up two incredible seasons with the Bruins.
So, with every challenge Latu faces, he's found a way to thrive. The next challenge in front of him is the NFL. And Latu has shown us over the past few years he is never someone you want to bet against. So if Latu has his eyes on having a career worthy of earning a bust in Canton, Ohio, in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and, of course, "that gold jacket," I'm not going to doubt him.

The Indianapolis Colts won their preseason finale against the Cincinnati Bengals, finishing with a 2-1 record. But it was a shaky night for quarterback Anthony Richardson and the Colts' starting offense.
