A few named on this list stand out and could be quality depth signings for the Colts. The team recently made a move at running back but still chose to bring multiple players in for a tryout. Two RBs that intrigue me are Eno Benjamin and Joshua Kelly. The Arizona Cardinals drafted Benjamin with the 222nd pick in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. As well as the Cardinals, he has spent time with two different teams, the Houston Texans and the New Orleans Saints; he has appeared in 24 games and recorded 431 rushing yards, three touchdowns, and 234 receiving yards. The Los Angeles Chargers drafted Kelly with the 112th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He spent the past four years with the Chargers and has appeared in 54 games and recorded 1,148 rushing yards on 320 attempts (3.6 ypa) and six touchdowns. He also has caught 50 passes for 319 yards.
Of the edge rushers the Colts brought in, Taco Charlton stands out to me. The Dallas Cowboys drafted Charlton with the 28th pick in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. His tenure with the team wouldn't last long, though, with him being released following his second season. Since then, he has spent time with the Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Chicago Bears. He has appeared in 60 games in the NFL and recorded 95 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and 11.5 sacks.
Here is some brief info on all the players the Colts brought in for this tryout.
- Eno Benjamin, RB, 25 years old
- Taco Charlton, Edge, 29 years old
- Avery Davis, WR, 25 years old
- Porter Gustin, Edge, 27 years old
- Justin Hollins, Edge, 28 years old
- Kaylon Horton, WR, Age unknown
- Joshua Kelley, RB, 26 years old

- Larry Rountree, RB, 25 years old
- SaRodorick Thompson, RB, 24 years old
- Greg Ward Jr., WR, 29 years old
