The week's final injury report will give us designations for all the players who have found themselves on the team's injury report this week ahead of the Indianapolis Colts (5-5) Week 12 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-6).
Thursday's injury report left many doubting the status of a few key players, and Friday's report will provide actual concrete answers.
CB Juju Brents and Drew Ogletree are in the most danger of not playing in Week 12, after missing both practice sessions this week as well as Week 10 before the team's bye. If either could land a questionable designation today, that would be a win for the team. When it comes to the third player to miss practice on Wednesday and Thursday, Grant Stuard, with an illness, any form of practice today would likely mean he is ready to go for Sunday.
Friday Injury Report:
No Game Designation:
- Rodney Thomas II
After showing up on the injury report with a knee issue, Thomas II showed solid progression throughout the week. And now holds no destination heading into their Week 12 game against the Buccaneers.
Questionable:
- Grant Stuard
Newly appointed starting LB Grant Stuard has been on the teams injury report all week with an illness that held him out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday. He was able to elevate to a light participant on Friday, which gives him a fighting chance at suiting up for his first game as a starter.
Out:
- Juju Brents
- Drew Ogletree
- Ryan Kelly
Both Brents and Ogletree being listed as out this week seemed expected after not being able to practice all week. The surprise was seeing Kelly not be able to clear the NFL's concussion protocol after practicing on Wednesday and Thursday. He will now have to wait at least another week to return to the field, which means Wesley French is set to be the starting center.
