Friday's practices have been very telling for the Indianapolis Colts so far this season.

While players may rest early in the week, it seems that players who are going to give it a go for Sunday's game have typically at least been a light participant in Friday's practice. But I'm sure all fan's eyes were looking for the status of Jonathan Taylor, who was able to complete a full week of practice, his first week back with the team off the PUP list.

Friday's Injury Report:

Ruled Out:

  • Kwity Paye
  • Bernhard Raimann
  • Shaquille Leonard

The Colts ruled out three players ahead of their Week 5 matchup. Two with concussions in LT Bernhard Raimann and Edge rusher Kwity Paye, as well as LB Shaquille Leonard, who will miss Week 5 due to a groin injury. With Leonard being out, I expect Zaire Franklin and EJ Speed to dominate the LB snaps this week. The Colts will likely look to Dayo Odeyingbo, who is coming off a career day in Week 4, to replace starter Kwity Paye. The biggest loss for the Colts in my opinion, is LT Bernhard Raimann missing another week with his concussion which means rookie Blake Freeland will get his 2nd start of the year.

Questionable:

  • Jonathan Taylor

The Colts officially rule RB Jonathan Taylor as questionable for this Sunday. He was listed as a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. The team still has to activate him to their active roster if they choose to play him on Sunday, which would require another roster move to make room.

No Designation:

  • Mo Alie-Cox
  • DeForest Buckner
  • Tyquan Lewis
  • Quenton Nelson
  • Ryan Kelly

The Colts gave no designation to the group above, which means they are all good to go for this Sunday's matchup with the Titans. Getting Ryan Kelly back against the Titans strong interior defense is a big lift for the Colts after he missed the past two weeks with a concussion he sustained in Week 2.
