The Indianapolis Colts are coming into Week 12 as fresh as we will see them this season.
They are coming off their Week 11 bye, with a 5-5 record on the year, and are hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week.
The Colts had a long list of players nursing injuries during the bye week, which makes their injury report following Wednesday's practice so important. An important one to watch for is rookie CB Juju Brents, who the team hopes to get back on the field after he suffered a quad injury in Week 7 that has forced him to miss their previous three games.
Wednesday Injury Report:
Light Partipant:
- Rodney Thomas II
- Ryan Kelly
Fresh off their bye week starting center Ryan Kelly was able to practice in a non contact red jersey today. This means he's progressing through the NFL's concussion protocol. Getting Kelly back against a solid Buccaneers defensive line would be a big boost.
Did Not Practice:
- Juju Brents
- Drew Ogletree
Even after the bye the Colts are still without both players that were inactive during their Week 10 matchup in Gemany against the New England Patriots. Head coach Shane Steichen seemed more hopeful then he has in recent weeks on the status of Juju Brents. Which has me thinking we may see him return to practice sometime this week at least.
