Well, football fans, we made it. Today is NFL cut-down day, as well as the self-made deadline if a trade for a Jonathan Taylor trade is to occur.

Sources shared with me earlier today that a mystery team is picking up steam as trade negotiations continue for Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor.

Who is this mystery team?

The identity of this 2nd team has remained a mystery ever since their offer was announced as one of two teams to do so, the other being reported as the Miami Dolphins.

While their identity being a secret at the time of their opening offer was interesting, it was shared that the Dolphins had separated themselves in terms of overall interest. That notion doesn't seem to be the case anymore, as this mystery 2nd team has become a serious threat to the Miami Dolphins in terms of acquiring Jonathan Taylor via trade. A source shared that this team's recent surge has "Put them on par with the Dolphins."

While I, like many others, have not been able to track down this mystery team's identity, from the information I have gathered, I believe this team to be in the NFC. This would make one assume that if the two teams' trade packages are nearly identical, the NFC team would have an edge on the Colts fellow AFC team, the Miami Dolphins.

We are heading toward the finish line of the trade deadline given by the Colts to RB Jonathan Tayor (Today). Will a deal get done? Will the Colts extend the deadline?

We will have to wait and see.
