The Indianapolis Colts offense had their worst night of the season while the entire world was watching.

And that will now be the only nationally televised game the Colts will play during the regular season with the news of the NFL flexing the Colts Week 11 matchup with the New York Jets out of Sunday Night Football.

Colts and Jets flexed out of Sunday Night Football

During the original NFL schedule release, the Colts were given one primetime matchup: Week 11 on the road against the Jets. A few weeks back, though, the NFL chose to flex the Colts into Sunday Night Football for their Week 9 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.

As soon as that was announced, many began to speculate that this matchup with the Jets was likely going to be moved out of the primetime slot. The Jets have had their struggles throughout the year. And now the Colts laid a dud of performance while the whole world was watching. So I'm sure both franchises understand this decision.

Now, the teams will square off in the early window at 1 pm Eastern Standard Time slot. This is where the Colts typically play their games and have honestly looked more comfortable over the past few years. If the Colts stay true to the plan to play Joe Flacco the rest of the way, it'll be a veteran QB dual between Flacco and Jets QB Aaron Rodgers.
