Peyton Manning got to have a pretty nostalgic moment that will send himself and Colts fans down memory lane to the glory days
It’s always cool to see life come full circle like this
The greatest player in the history of the Indianapolis Colts franchise is undeniably Peyton Manning. During his time with the Colts, he had multiple legendary connections.
However, none are bigger than the out of this world connection he built with his fellow Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison. The duo connected for 953 receptions, 12,766 yards, and 112 touchdowns. They have the most receptions and yards of any duo in NFL history and have the second most touchdowns, only trailing Steve Young and Jerry Rice, who scored 119 touchdowns. Manning and Harrison’s impact on the Colts will live on forever, and Peyton recently got to do something that probably sent the entire fan base down memory lane to the glory days of Colts football.

Manning recently attended a Denver Broncos joint practice with the Arizona Cardinals. Reading that may annoy some fans who have had to watch Peyton get very close to the Broncos franchise since his retirement. He spent the final four years of his legendary NFL career in Denver, having already had a 13-year Hall of Fame career with the Colts before that. Many Colts fans believe the QB tends to favor the Broncos nowadays.
If you can look past the fact that it was a Broncos practice, this story is pretty cool. Manning got to watch, talk with, and take a picture with Marvin’s son, Marvin Harrison Jr. Peyton got to watch Harrison Jr. grow up around the team, so to now see him in the NFL himself after dominating college football with Ohio State has to feel pretty surreal. From seeing him on the field as he and Harrison Jr.’s father celebrated winning a Super Bowl with the Colts, to now being retired and rooting for him as an NFL player. It doesn’t get much cooler than this, even if it probably makes Peyton and some Colts fans feel old in the process.
