This season is the first one since the team drafted Shaquille Leonard in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft that he has not begun the year with the team.
He has spent the year as a free agent after ending the 2023 season with the Philadelphia Eagles. While his time playing for the Colts has come to an end, a recent project shows that the team is still very much a part of who he is.
Leonard recently completed a project involving a 23-year-old artist who goes by @artkeshawn on X and @artby_keshawn on Instagram. The mural recapped some of the greatest moments from Leonard's six years with the Colts franchise.
Some of the moments that can be seen include Leonard repping the Colts at a Pro Bowl and Leonard stiff-arming a Patriots defender into the turf after an interception. Seeing Leonard actively root on the Colts and his former teammates on game day makes it pretty clear that, in his heart, he will always consider himself a Colt. Leonard shared his appreciation for the finished product via his personal X account.
