Sadly, since the former Colts quarterback's retirement, the account has essentially retired as well, but they made a comeback following Luck finding himself in the headlines yet again.
Twitter/X parody account Capt. Andrew Luck returns after the former Colts QB found himself in the headlines again
The Capt. Andrew Luck account was created in December of 2015. The account highlighted key moments of Luck's career in the form of a letter that a soldier would send home to his mother while deployed. It brought so much laughter and joy to not only Colts fans but fans across the NFL.
This week, Luck made the shocking decision to fire Stanford's head football coach with the season right around the corner. Now, as the general manager of Stanford's football team, Luck released a statement about the decision. Although he is not on social media or in the public eye much these days, anytime his name comes up in the news, people take notice.
Prior to this post, the last time the account posted was on January 20th of, 2025. This means the account has posted twice this year, which is solid progress after only posting twice since November of 2023 entering this year. I think I speak for all football fans when I say I hope Luck returning to the football world in his new role leads to the Capt. Andrew Luck account making a comeback as well.
