Indianapolis Colts tight end TE Andrew Ogletree has been arrested and booked in Hendricks County, a source confirmed to A to Z Sports' Destin Adams.
He is being charged with "domestic battery committed in physical presence of a child less than 16, knowing child present and might be able to see/hear," according to jail records.
Ogletree was booked at 3:42 p.m. on Friday and no bond has been given.
Adams further reports that Ogletree is not expected to be active this Sunday for the Colts matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
"The team is aware of the situation and currently making sure they have all the facts at their disposal," Adams wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The team later released a statement on the situation (via the NFL).
"We are aware of the disturbing allegations involving Drew Ogletree. The team takes these matters seriously," the Colts said in a statement. "We have notified the NFL and are in the process of gathering more information. We will have no further comment at this time."
Ogletree was drafted by the Colts in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, but tore his ACL during training camp and was forced to miss his entire rookie season. So far this year, he has appearing in 12 games, recording nine receptions for 147 yards and two touchdowns.
