Darrell Baker Jr.

Baker Jr. was claimed by the Tennessee Titans on Thursday. He joined the Colts in 2022 and was on their actice roster for three games. His true arrival though came during the team's training camp in 2023. He was consistenly making plays and impressing coaches and teammates with the improvements he made to his game.
This led him to not only make the team's active roster, but be named a Week 1 starter as an outside CB. He appeared in 14 games but only started in six after being benched due to poor perfromances early in the season. He ended the year with 35 total tackles and seven pass deflections. Training camp this year wasn't a repeat of last season, but he did play well during the preseason where he displayed solid zone coverage ability.
He now joins the Colts rivals the Titans for the 2024 season. The two teams will square off in Weeks 6 and 16. With the Titans coming to Indianapolis in Week 16 for Baker to make his return to Lucas Oil Stadium, this time on the opposing sideline.
