The Jacksonville Jaguars are entering a new era under head coach Liam Coen. They have quarterback Trevor Lawrence in place, which is a strong foundational piece to build around. This organization must continue to build up the roster. 

The 2025 NFL Draft class is going to be huge for Jacksonville to create a more sustainable product. In this most recent 7-round mock draft, the aim was to add impact playmakers and strengthen the trenches. Here are some talented players who could fit. 

Round 1, Pick 5: Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

How is Hunter going to be utilized on the NFL level? Whatever it is, he will immediately upgrade the Jaguars. They have needs at both wide receiver and cornerback.

Round 2, Pick 36: Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State

Jacksonville needs an upgrade in terms of size and tenacity up front. Williams is an immovable object up front, and should at worst, be a stellar run defender for the team.

Round 3, Pick 70: Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford

Calvin Ridley is a nice weapon for the Jaguars, but more talented pass catchers are needed. Ayomanor brings a unique combination of size and route nuance to the table.

Round 3, Pick 88: Emery Jones Jr., OT, LSU

Jones played the majority of his reps at right tackle during his LSU career. His best spot may end up being inside at guard long term where his combination of power and movement skills can thrive.

Round 4, Pick 106: Kevin Winston Jr., S, Penn State

If not for the injury, Winston would have potentially gone quite a bit earlier. He is a massive safety who is one of the better open field tacklers in this class.

Round 4, Pick 125: Miles Frazier, IOL, LSU

Frazier has seen a steady climb after a nice final season and performance at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. He is a bigger body with surprisingly good feet that should allow him to play multiple spots.

Round 5, Pick 143: DJ Giddens, RB, Kansas State

It’s a travesty that Giddens lasted this long on the board. He is one of the best pure runners in the entire class. Giddens could be a massive steal.

Round 6, Pick 184: Jackson Hawes, TE, Georgia Tech

If you are drafting Hawes to come in and impact the passing game, you are going to be very disappointed. Hawes is an outstanding run blocker, and should be an early asset in that department.

Round 6, Pick 196: Sebastian Castro, S, Iowa

Castro has played mostly in the nickel for Iowa the last two years. His skill set does, however, fit best at safety. He is a tough tenacious defender that should excel on special teams.

Round 7, Pick 223: Kaimon Rucker, EDGE, UNC

Rucker is one of the more tactical pass rushers in the 2025 class. He just lacks physical traits to anything more than a depth piece. There should still be an outlook for him as a designated pass rusher.
