A week ago, Tennessee Vols head coach Butch Jones announced the transfer request of star running back Jalen Hurd.
Chaos ensued over the next several days from Vol fans about the reasoning and blame of Hurd's departure from the program. Several different stories surrounding Hurd's behavior toward coaches and teammates starting with the Georgia game swirled around the internet. His mother and stepfather both made public statements, but Hurd had been silent until Sunday night.

The Vols went on to beat Tennessee Tech 55-0 on Saturday in their first game without Hurd. Tennessee (6-3) hosts Kentucky (5-4) next week in a 'must win' game, for both teams, in the SEC East race.
