Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow showed up in San Francisco last weekend looking "out of this world" ahead of Cincy's game against the 49ers.
Burrow wore a NASA shirt with an oversized alien mask the day before the Bengals' big win in San Francisco.
After the game, Burrow posted a photo on Instagram with the caption "mask off".
Was Burrow sending some sort of cryptic message to the 49ers?
Apparently not.
On Wednesday, Burrow was asked by a reporter if there was a message behind the alien mask.
"It's Halloween, man," said Burrow with a laugh. "That was it. No [message]".
When asked if he believes in aliens, Burrow said "the jury is out".
Some might say that Burrow is an alien after the way he escaped pressure against the 49ers when it looked like he should've been sacked multiple times on one play.
