Observations:

As expected, the team announced that Royals did not travel with the team and will not play on Friday. He has been dealing with knee tendinitis since midway through the preseason. The Chiefs will hold a walkthrough on Thursday and will announce official game designations.

As long as there are no setbacks, it appears that Norman-Lott’s status is the only one in question. The fact that he practiced yesterday and made the trip is a good indicator that he’ll play. As for the Chargers, Molden was upgraded to a full participant in practice on Wednesday. It appears they’ll have no injury designations whatsoever heading into Friday’s game.
