With Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs earning a spot in the Super Bowl, Taylor Swift is expected to also be in attendance.
However, it isn't so simple.
The pop star is set to play a show in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday night, Feb. 10. And then Kansas City plays on Sunday night.
So despite having a short window to get back, she is going to make it work. And both sides are willing to make this happen.
Ahead of her much-anticipated arrival in Tokyo, the Embassy of Japan released a statement about her upcoming travel from Japan to the United States for the Super Bowl. And it included numerous song references.
Here is what the statement said:
The Embassy of Japan in the United States is aware of recent media reports concerning the steps Taylor Swift will need to take to travel from Tokyo after her concert on February 10th to Las Vegas in time to watch the Kansas City Chief play in Super Bowl LVIII.
Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins.
We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be Fearless in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red.
After the AFC Championship, multiple users on social media began posting about the way Swift could make it. And that included NFL Insider Ian Rapoport.
"Let me introduce you to something called the international date line. Toyko is 17 hours ahead," Rapoport wrote. "That means this concert on February 10th at 6 p.m. starts at 1 a.m. Vegas time the same day. So the morning before.
So for anyone worried that these two events might clash, no need to fret anymore. She will make it to both.
