The Las Vegas Raiders are gearing up to upset everyone in 2024. They feel they can catch the league by surprise, play the underdog, but more importantly, play the role of the team that defies every odd. And, they can do all of that. But, a lot of variables are in place here.

Obviously, they have an amazing roster. But we have no idea what will happen at the most important position on the field – the quarterback, where they have two guys who can be the starter. The coaching is a pretty big X-Factor as well, with an entirely new coaching staff.

But most importantly, there is still training camp ahead of the team. They have to get everything right there. That's where it all starts – in Costa Mesa. That's where everything can change, from an injury to your best players that has them out for the year, to fights and altercations that mess up the chemistry, or even to getting everything perfect with a full head of steam heading into the season.

And now, after recent news, we know the report dates for rookies and veterans.

The Raiders in the past were good at not letting any information out in terms of training camp. Josh McDaniels pretty much kept everything under wraps that he wanted to. Now, it's a bit different under Antonio Pierce.

On Tuesday, the NFL released the dates that rookies and veterans would report for training camp. As for the rookies, they report on July 21, and the veterans report on July 23.

This is the first time the Raiders will hold their training camp in Costa Mesa, California, so we aren't really sure how this will play out yet. But, what we do know is that Antonio Pierce is taking a bit of the Raiders back to Los Angeles.
