Las Vegas Raiders are bringing in a pair of stud college teammates at the same position for a pre-draft visit
The Raiders like both Cincinnati linebackers.
Despite signing two linebackers in Quay Walker and Nakobe Dean, the Las Vegas Raiders still need help at the position, primarily depth and guys who can drop back in coverage. They currently have just Tommy Eichenberg and Cody Lindenberg there, behind the two free-agent acquisitions.
So, we can expect them to potentially draft a linebacker in this draft, or at least target some great Undrafted Free Agent Rookies. So far, they have hosted or scheduled pre-draft/top-30 visits for two guys at the position in this upcoming draft class. According to Ryan Fowler, the Raiders have top-30 visits with Jake Golday and Jack Dingle, both linebackers at Cincinnati.
Raiders seem to have interest in Cincinnati LBs Jake Golday and Jack Dingle
These two are very talented LBs in the 2026 NFL Draft. However, Golday is the better prospect of the two. He’s currently the No. 57 overall player in A to Z Sports’ Big Board, and the No. 5 linebacker. Golday is one of the more underrated LBs in this class. Can play off-ball, pretty good in coverage, albeit against the Big 12, but if you want a game to watch, watch his tape vs Iowa State.
Golday posted a strong PFF coverage grade of 77.5, placing him 70th out of 809 qualified linebackers. His run-defense grade was even more impressive at 90.6, ranking 17th at the position. While his pass-rush grade of 61.1 came in at 502nd, he proved reliable as a tackler, finishing the season with 70 solo tackles. Golday also generated 18 total pressures and notched 4 sacks as a blitzer. In coverage, he allowed a 106.5 passer rating when targeted and was credited with 10 missed tackles throughout the year.
Dingle isn’t on many sites as a draft prospect, but he certainly could be drafted. He’s not on any site’s big board, but his stats aren’t bad at all, all things considered. Dingle finished with 165 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks in 48 games. These are both players the Raiders could use.
