The Las Vegas Raiders made some roster moves on Saturday before their Sunday matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers.
The team announced on Saturday that cornerback Nate Hobbs and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo would be ruled out for Sunday's game.
While everyone was talking about that news, the Chandler Jones news, and the Sunday morning news that Aidan O'Connell would get the start, some other roster moves happened.
According to the Raiders PR team on Twitter, they Signed linebacker Kana'i Mauga to the active roster from the practice squad, placed linebacker Curtis Bolton on the Reserve/Injured list, and activated cornerback Tyler Hall and linebacker Malik Reed from the practice squad.
Bolton was the preseason standout linebacker that the Raiders ultimately chose over Amari Burney for the last linebacker spot on game days. He was a special teams ace. So, that is a big blow to their defense, and special teams.
