The Los Angeles Chargers are getting some intriguing respect this year. Many folks see LA as a potential dark horse in the AFC under new head coach Jim Harbaugh.

They improved their offensive line and defensive depth, albeit losing some talent at skill positions on offense. All in all, they are one of the most interesting teams as the 2024 NFL season kicks off this week.

The Chargers took the hype to another level on Thursday morning when they posted a hype video across their social media platforms.

Chargers reveal awesome hype video for 2024 NFL season

Any Chargers video narrated by Shawne Merriman is going to be impressive. This one was no exception. You can hear the excitement coming from the former Chargers standout defender.

It's tough to make non-fans of a professional sports team get goosebumps just from a video. This one did that to me and many other viewers, I'm sure.

To fans of the Chargers, make sure you check out that video when you get a couple of free moments.

Chargers make move with QB Justin Herbert

In a bit more of a serious move, the Chargers added Justin Herbert to their injury report. He practiced on Wednesday, as this move is simply procedural to appease the NFL. Expect him to start Sunday.

The Chargers kick off their 2024 regular season against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday at 3:05 CT.
