Chargers star safety Derwin James shared his thoughts on Henley pushing through in order to get on the field for Los Angeles on Sunday.

“He’s our green dot, our leader, our captain, and just being able to battle, bro, that’s tough. And for him to go out there, man, I got so much respect for him.”

Henley has revealed that his brother was his best friend. It’s been quite the year in totality for the Chargers linebacker, as his father was arrested in the spring. Henley also dealt with a sickness early in the season that made him drop notable weight. The illness affected him for weeks.

There is no doubt that Henley is committed to his team and its fans. His performance in the Bolts’ win was one for him to remember forever. Now, everyone understands why exactly it means so much to him to dominate versus the Titans. He will look to build on that performance and finish this season strong for LA.
