The Chargers now possess one of the top tackle duos in the NFL between Alt and Rashawn Slater. They addressed wide receiver in round two with Ladd McConkey, too.
Chargers QB Justin Herbert welcomed Alt with a simple text.
In Justin Herbert manner, his intro was nothing special. He quite literally just told Alt that his name was Justin, and he plays quarterback. Simple and sweet.
Herbert has always seemed like a down-to-earth, humble signal caller, and this interaction definitely backs that up. For the QB, he certainly internally hopes that Alt catches on quickly and plays well in his rookie year.
