The Los Angeles Chargers made some changes to their roster this offseason, and in the process, they realized they needed some depth in the secondary. Then again, who doesn't need depth in the secondary? I'd argue that depth in the secondary is the most important position to have depth outside the offensive line.

Nonetheless, the Chargers needed some help there, and they can still get it in free agency, even though a lot of teams are done in free agency with minicamps right around the corner. One guy who is pretty coveted when it comes to adding some depth at the position, and maybe even a starter, depending on how good he is, will actually be seen at the Chargers minicamp here soon.

Exciting news for Chargers fans! As the team gears up for their final session of OTAs from June 4-7, and a mandatory minicamp from June 11-13, they are set to host a tryout for veteran safety Tony Jefferson. This potential addition could bring a wealth of experience and skill to the team.

Tony Jefferson, a seasoned player who recently retired after a successful stint with the Baltimore Ravens, has expressed his desire to return to the NFL. His decision has sparked interest from several teams, including the Chargers, who are keen to see him in action during the upcoming tryout.

Jefferson played for nine years and retired after the 2022 season when he last played for the New York Giants. Jefferson has 24 career pass breakups, along with four interceptions. He could be a nice addition for the Chargers.
