The Los Angeles Chargers have put in a ton of work this offseason. Just when everyone is counting them out, expecting them to be worse in 2024 because of letting guys like Mike Williams and Keenan Allen go, but, they feel the exact opposite.
They saw some of the potential last season with the drama they did have, and know that they can get back to doing things their way, successfully. And, that's not too far-fetched for them to feel that way, too.
After three weeks of OTAs, Organized Team Activities, a few days of mandatory minicamp, and some offseason rest, the Los Angeles Chargers are almost ready to start training camp. And what comes after training camp is the real football.
With Jim Harbaugh now the head coach, things will be run a little differently than they were when Brandon Staley was the head coach. So, while we wait and figure that out, in terms of media coverage, how often fans will be allowed to go to camp, and other things, the NFL released some important dates you should all jot down.
The Chargers rookies will have to report to training camp on July 16, while the veteran will report on July 23.
That's where the real work gets put in. That's where you find out if the team is built-ready for the season. You may see altercations like fights, or maybe even injuries. But, it's the time the players come ready to work, and they will be ready.
