An offensive contributor is dealing with an injury following Week 4 for the Los Angeles Chargers.
In the win over the Las Vegas Raiders, tight end Donald Parham Jr. suffered a sprained wrist. The good news for the Chargers and Parham is that the injury comes just before the Week 5 bye.
Parham is the team’s second tight end they like to use, so it would be a definite hit to their depth if he were to miss time. Los Angeles does not suit up again until Monday Night Football in Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys.
On the season, Parham has six catches on eight targets for 33 receiving yards. Parham already has three touchdowns, however, as he’s been a red-zone target for Justin Herbert.
Gerald Everett leads the tight end room and will continue to. If Parham needs to miss time, Stone Smartt is the next tight end to step up.
Parham’s injury will be something to watch through the bye week to monitor if he will be out there in Week 6.
