It's unknown whether or not the Chargers will have Justin Herbert in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs. They could choose to be cautious and keep him out versus the reigning champs.
Herbert discussed his status late last week before the AFC matchup.
Herbert says that the pain is "not great" right now. He is officially listed as questionable by the Chargers. If Herbert cannot go, expect QB Easton Stick to start for Los Angeles.

Of course, he ended up playing, but there was some concern beforehand that he may get held out in Week 3. Now, Los Angeles may be regretting their choice to allow him to start.
After his latest aggravation of the ankle, there's more uncertainty. Once again – Easton Stick could grab the start if Herbert is forced to the sideline.
If that's the case, the backup QB may be forced to start against an impressive defensive line without his two best offensive linemen. That would be a nearly impossible task. Add another bad luck tally for the Chargers.
It may be the smartest decision for LA to hold out their star quarterback for a chunk of time to fully rehab his ankle sprain.
Rushing Herbert back could lead to a more serious issue that would have long-term affects on his play.
We will get more updates on Herbert and the rest of Los Angeles' injuries later this week. Check back here for injury report updates ahead of the Chargers' Week 4 game against the Chiefs.
