The Los Angeles Chargers are sure to be active this offseason in an attempt to make the offense even more dangerous. Justin Herbert enjoys done of his best pro seasons so far at quarterback, but there were clear holes throughout the offensive depth chart.

Adding notable pass catchers with immediate impact and upside will be vital for Jim Harbaugh's team.

According to an insider, LA may have the inside track to add one of the best wide receivers of this generation. The price tag may not be too high, either.

Davante Adams interested in Chargers

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the former Pro Bowl wide receiver is “intrigued” by a return to the West Coast.

Adams would be open to joining either the Chargers or Rams in Los Angeles – if released by the New York Jets. The San Francisco 49ers are another option for Adams on the coast.

The lets must address the future of receiver Davante Adams, whose $38.3 million cap hit is untenable. A source told me Adams is intrigued by a return to the West Coast and would be open to potentially joining teams such as the Rams or Chargers — if he gets released. I would put the 49ers in the conversation, too. Adams grew up in Northern California. — Jeremy Fowler

Adams would be a great addition for the Chargers due to his experience and potential role. Ladd McConkey is best served inside but proved he could win on the outside as well in 2024.

Regardless, Adams is a downfield threat, who still possesses smooth route running skills as well.

He'd be a noticeable upgrade to the current depth behind McConkey at wideout. The signing would also take some pressure off of young WR Quentin Johnston as he continues his development.
