Keenan Allen has been a popular name since the season ended. The former Los Angeles Chargers wideout will be quite sought after as a veteran WR on the market. His former team is expected to have some interest.

Allen has been on record in recent weeks, noting his interest to play o the west coast next season. That opens the door for teams like the Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, and San Francisco 49ers. He has also kept the door open for a return to the Bears.

Keenan Allen still succeeding

Allen made Bears history this past season, albeit in a frustrating campaign for the team as a whole.

The former Chargers WR became the oldest Bears WR to have 7+ touchdown receptions in a season since 1949, according to Steve Flack.

This shows the red zone ability for Allen still persists.

Adding that sort of production and talent could be smart for Jim Harbaugh and his team. Their receiving options this past season were incredibly inconsistent outside of rookie Ladd McConkey.

Adding assets in the passing game via free agency and/or the NFL Draft will be a must for the Chargers.
