Chargers will reveal new alternate uniforms in July
According to a team announcement, the Chargers will unveil new alternate uniforms on July 15th, 2025. It will be added into their rotation for this season and potentially beyond. Los Angeles will begin training camp two days after the reveal.
The Chargers' uniform set is the best in football. Between the all-white set, mixture of powder blue/gold, and smooth navy aspects, there is no one that has the consistency of looks that the Bolts can put on the field on a weekly basis.
There are plenty of fans hoping for a different navy uniform that look more like their old navy set. Navy isn't in as consistent of use by the team in recent years, compared to white or powder blue.
No changes, just an addition
The organization made it clear with the announcement that this isn't a sort of swap or edit. Rather, they're just going to have another option to wear to go along with the other sets they have available.
To be clear, the Bolts are not changing their primary uniforms, the team is adding to their current uniform set.
"We've always considered ourselves to be leaders in the uniform space," said A.G. Spanos, the Chargers President of Business Operations.
"We take pride in the fact that the Chargers are widely considered to have the best uniforms in the NFL; some even argue in all of sports," Spanos added. "One of the main reasons for that is our continued push to evolve, authentically, with every opportunity. That's what this is about." — Los Angeles Chargers
The Bolts haven't swapped their uniform set since 2020. That was the last year when they made an adjustment, but another option is set to join the fantastic group of looks for Jim Harbaugh's squad.
