Dolphins Head Coach Interview Tracker: Live updates on each coach the Dolphins are considering to lead their rebuild
Interview invitations and updates from the Dolphins hiring process.
The Miami Dolphins will enter this week with something this team was missing for several months — clarity on a direction. This time last week, the Dolphins’ season had mercifully skidded to a halt, with nothing but questions ahead. Who would be the general manager? Would Mike McDaniel keep his job? What kind of interest could the job garner? Now we know. Miami’s general manager is Jon-Eric Sullivan, a highly respected personnel executive from the Green Bay Packers. He was, by many indications, their guy all along. As a matter of act, A to Z Sports was told he was ‘the lead dog’ last Monday.
With that hire, clarity has arrived. There’s still questions, but we know the Dolphins will be starting fresh. The first steps are taken. And now the Dolphins will set about finding a new head coach to lead the roster. Who are the candidates? This tracker has you covered and will specify what kind of traction each head coach candidate has — interviews Miami has requested, other coaches they are reported to hold interest in, and when interviews are completed and confirmed by the team.

In-person interviews with candidates currently not employed can happen at any point. Other in-person interviews can take place after the divisional round of the playoffs once a team has been eliminated from postseason contention. The Dolphins have some making up of ground to do this week — but they still have time.
And, thankfully, some very intriguing candidates to consider.
