Monday night is big night for the Detroit Lions. They'll square off against the Seattle Seahawks in hopes of ending their losing streak to them on Monday Night Football in their brand new black uniforms.
That's not all they'll be doing. They'll be inducting legendary Lions receiver Calvin Johnson into the Pride of the Lions. His name will forever be displayed inside of Ford Field with the rest of the Lions greatest players of all time.
The Lions aren't the only ones giving out honors today. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is also getting in on the festivities with a really big honor for Johnson.
Happy Megatron day everyone! In my opinion, this should become a new statewide holiday and everyone should get the day off from work with holiday pay. A man can dream.
