AFC North matchups are always intense, but doesn't change the respect that Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has for the Cincinnati Bengals and their home turf.

Tomlin spoke to reporters on Tuesday ahead of Pittsburgh's trip to Cincinnati this weekend and he had some flattering things to say about the Bengals.

"Man, I love and respect the jungle," said Tomlin. "Talk about a hostile environment, AFC North football. Excited about getting our group in there and watching them respond to a (hostile) environment."

Tomlin went on to praise Cincinnati's defense, specifically their ability to create turnovers. The longtime Steelers head coach also had plenty of great things to say about the Bengals' wide receiver group.

That's just one of the many reasons that Tomlin has enjoyed the longevity that he has as an NFL coach. If you take any team in the NFL lightly, regardless of who's at quarterback, you'll likely be on the wrong side of a loss.
