It’s a massive injury report, but not for the Vikings.

The Minnesota Vikings enter their Week 11 matchup against the Green Bay Packers as healthy as they’ve been in weeks. Things aren’t the same for the Packers, as their injury report is absolutely loaded with starters and key players.

The Vikings don’t have quarterback J.J. McCarthy on the report anymore, but their opponent does in Jordan Love. Things could get a little bit messy if they have multiple players out.

The first injury report is loaded with names.

Observations

  • Head coach Kevin O’Connell reported that Greenard and Kelly would be back on the practice field. While Kelly was a full participant, Greenard was working off on a side field. If he is going to play on Sunday, he will need to be in a good spot by Friday.
  • Fries not practicing is somewhat of a concern for the Vikings. He hasn’t quite lived up to the big contract he got, but has been solid. If he can’t go, Blake Brandel could kick over and play right guard with a possible Kelly return.
  • No real areas of concern with both Jones and Darrisaw. This has been something we’ve seen regularly for the last few weeks.

Observations

  • This is a really long list, but the biggest players on the list on Parsons and Love. The latter did leave the game for seven plays against the New York Giants last week but had a really good game otherwise.
  • The top five wide receivers for the Packers are all on the injury report. That doesn’t bode well one bit for Sunday’s game.
