The Minnesota Vikings got the win over the Green Bay Packers, but it may have come at a great cost.
Cousins was sacked on two consecutive plays in the fourth quarter, and appeared to suffer a non-contact injury just before the second sack.
Cousins was seen being helped on the sideline and seemed unable to put any weight on his right leg.
Cousins was immediately ruled out for the remainder of the game and was carted to the locker room. Rookie Jaren Hall came in the game at QB.
Hall went 3-of-4 for 23 yards in relief of Cousins and lost a fumble.
Thanks to a dominant defensive performance, the Vikes were able to hold on for a 24-10 win. The Packers converted on just five of 14 third down opportunities and Jordan Love threw one interception.
While the win keeps the Vikings alive, any good vibes will be crushed by the Cousins injury. With the QB's injury appearing to be serious, the Vikes will likely explore trade opportunities. The NFL trade deadline is on Tuesday, so the Vikes will need to make a decision soon.
Before the injury, Cousins was having an amazing game. The QB went 23-31 for 274 yards and 2 TDs.
