Fans will actually not get to see Bill Belichick on their screens this offseason.

It was reported by FOS last week that Belichick and the University of North Carolina football team will be featured on the offseason edition of "Hard Knocks."

However, CBS Sports reports that talks broke down and Belichick will no longer be featured.

"NFL Films had discussions with Coach Belichick and UNC about appearing on Hard Knocks this offseason but couldn't reach an agreement," a spokesperson for NFL Media told CBS Sports.

This could mean that no teams will be featured on the offseason edition of "Hard Knocks" due to what happened last year. It centered around Joe Schoen letting star running back Saquon Barkley leave in free agency and sign with the Eagles.

In January, NFL Films vice president spoke on "The Pat McAfee Show" about the challenges the show faced.

“There’s definitely a chance. We hope it’s back. We’re talking to a bunch of teams about it. But we’ll see what happens. I mean, we need a willing participant on that one. We’re not going to force someone to do that show,” Cossrow said.

However, UNC is not ruling out a possible feature at a later date.

"Sources told CBS Sports there is still a desire within the UNC football program to do some sort of all-access, behind-the-scenes series with some media group," CBS Sports Jonathan Jones writes

But, fans will have to wait for that to happen since they won't be featured on the offseason edition of "Hard Knocks."
