The NFL recently unveiled every team's Mount Rushmore (all-time) on their NFL Throwback YouTube channel. The choices have come with plenty of social media backlash. That being said, they got it right for the New Orleans Saints.

The New Orleans Saints Mount Rushmore

  • Drew Brees
  • Rickey Jackson
  • Willie Roaf
  • Cameron Jordan

All four have legacies in black and gold. It's hard to argue against any of them due to their impact on the stat sheet, in the locker room, and in the community. The only remaining current Saints player on the list had an emotional reaction to his selection.

Cameron Jordan reacts to Saints Mount Rushmore selection

"Even to be in a convo is legendary in itself"  — Jordan via Twitter/X

Jordan is alongside two current Pro Football Hall of Famers on the mountain.

The other is Brees, who will be quick to be selected once he is eligible. He was inducted to the Saints Hall of Fame during this offseason. The official ceremony for the legendary QB will take place during the 2024 season. More details to come.

Jordan is the most accomplished pass rusher in Saints franchise history. He's been an energetic, confident leader throughout his NFL career. New Orleans would not be the same at this point without him. Jordan is an eight-time Pro Bowler and had multiple All-Pro seasons from 2017-2019.

He's ready for a bounce back season as a veteran in 2024.

Not to mention, the defensive lineman has spent his entire career with the Saints. He's been in black and gold since 2011, and I don't expect Jordan to ever wear another uniform during his pro career.

His response gave deserved respect to his fellow Saints legends. They've all made history.
