Michael Thomas has never been shy about sharing his opinions on social media. He's gone viral multiple times for strong opinions regarding the New Orleans Saints, opponents around the NFL, and simply random topics.

He made a statement on social media this week that took some folks by surprise.

The former Saints WR is seemingly a big fan of the legendary QB. He respects him. Keep in mind that the Saints dealt with Brady in their division when he was the QB of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to close his career in the league.

Unfortunately for Thomas, Brady is retired. He cannot sign with a team that has the long-time signal caller at quarterback. Thomas remains unsigned in free agency.

A reunion with the Saints seems extremely unlikely. Neither side is interested at the moment, and Thomas made it clear that he was frustrated with multiple levels of the Saint organization over the last couple of years. Now, he looks for a fresh start as a veteran wideout.

Thomas has missed most of the last four seasons. Injuries have decimated this stage of his career. We will see if a team takes a chance on the former NFL leader in receptions for a single season.

Regardless, he's clearly a massive fan of arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL history.
