The 2025 offseason should be an interesting one for the New Orleans Saints. With new head coach Kellen Moore at the helm, he's in place to shake things up along their roster.

Check out the tracker below for every notable move for New Orleans over the next few weeks. Reminder: Free agency signings can not become official until the new league year begins on Wednesday at 3:00 pm Central.

New Orleans Saints 2025 free agency tracker

Saints re-sign WR Dante Pettis

The Saints bring back some veteran depth on a one-year deal. Pettis was a free-agent pickup during last season and played well on special teams.

Rashid Shaheed will be coming off a major injury next season. When healthy, he's among the best return men in the NFL. That being said, it is unknown how much time he will miss in preparation for the 2025 season.

With the return of Pettis, you have a safe, known option in the return game. He's got experience and played well on special teams for the Saints last season.

Saints trade for DT Davon Godchaux

New Orleans has agreed to a trade for a new nose tackle.

The Saints have agreed to send a 2026 seventh-round pick to the New England Patriotsin exchange for DT Davon Godchaux, according to Adam Schefter.

Godchaux has shown that he can be amongst the best run stoppers in the entire NFL in the near past. For New Orleans, their run defense has struggled mightily over the past two seasons, so adding a player of this caliber in that department for such a cheap price is a smart move.

The Saints allowed 2,404 (second-worst in NFL) rushing yards on 4.9 YPC last season.

Godchaux is a nose tackle, through and through, for New Orleans now. That's a piece of the DL depth chart for the Saints that was incredibly thin, entering free agency. Expect him to play an important role for Brandon Staley's unit next season.

Paulson Adebo heads to Giants

Adebo is headed to the New York Giants, according to Dianna Russini. Adebo is headed to the New York Giants, according to Dianna Russini. The contract with New York that he has agreed to is a three-year deal.

I’m told Paulson Adebo’s three-year deal with the Giants is worth $54 million. Not $30 million. — Nick Underhill

Adebo's play had improved over the past couple of seasons, but his 2024 campaign ended early because of a broken fibula. There is some risk involved with this addition by New York.

Saints agree to extension with Chase Young

According to Ian Rapoport, the Saints have agreed to terms with pass rusher Chase Young on a three-year, $51 million deal worth up to $57 million.

As for the rest of the NFL, the pass rush class in free agency just took a massive hit. With Josh Sweat off the board, some folks believed that Young was the edge with the most upside remaining available.

Saints lose Will Harris to Washington

The Commanders have agreed to terms with safety Will Harris on a two-year, $8 million with a max value of $10 million, according to Mike Garafolo.

No matter what – the safety position becomes arguably the biggest need on defense for the Saints now. Tyrann Mathieu remains in the fold, but the depth behind him lacks upside and experience right now for New Orleans.

Saints restructure more veterans

New Orleans made multiple restructures on Tuesday morning. Following a Demario Davis restructure on Monday, the Saints reworked the contracts of Pete Werner, Carl Granderson, Cesar Ruiz, and Khalen Saunders. Expect all of those players to be in the fold next season.

Saints agree to deal with safety Justin Reid

According to Adam Schefter the Saints are signing safety Justin Reid to a three-year deal. The contract is worth $31.5 million, including $22.25M guaranteed for Reid.

Plus, Reid will rejoin Tyrann Mathieu in New Orleans. The latter reworked a new deal to remain with the Saints for the 2025 season. Mathieu and Reid played together for the Houston Texans in 2018.

Saints bring back TE Juwan Johnson

According to Jordan Schultz, the Saints plan to re-sign tight end Juwan Johnson to a three-year deal. The contract includes $30.75 million and maxes out at $34.5M.

For New Orleans, that was a hefty price to pay for a tight end who has dealt with multiple injuries over the past couple of seasons. That's of no fault of Johnson, necessarily, but some of that lack of availability has hindered the passing game at times.

Saints sign Will Clapp, Jack Stoll, and Isaac Yiadom

More moves to come for New Orleans in the coming days.
