After the New York Giants released former starting quarterback Daniel Jones, many believed the team would do anything needed to land their next QB in the 2025 NFL Draft.

A late-season win changed everything for the Giants, though, and they now sit at pick three with two QB-needy teams ahead of them. Many now expect the top two QBs to be off the board by the time the Giants are on the clock. So, a new A to Z Sports mock draft has the team taking an approach many would be shocked by.

Giants pivot to offensive line after missing out on top QBs and select Missouri's Armand Membou in a new mock draft

"Scouts highly regard Armand Membou, and for good reason. He demonstrates remarkable length and athleticism while playing tackle and guard, effectively leveraging his abilities against defenders. His game footage is striking, and his experience outshines that of many other prospects in this class. The Giants would prefer a quarterback, but Membou is a building block to stick at right tackle for years to come."

New A to Z Sports mock draft

Missouri's Armand Membou was among the biggest winners at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. He put on a show during on-field drills, and many around the league have taken notice. Membou played tackle at Missouri, but some people around the league think he could be a better fit as a guard in the NFL. I think Membou is plenty big enough to play tackle, and the way he moves makes him a good fit to go to war with speed rushers off the edge.

For the Giants, I think Membou would be a tackle and would play on the right side with Andrew Thomas at LT. If this is the route the team takes, there will be plenty of questions on what the team's plan at QB will be. They could look at the day two class of QBs and pick their favorite, or they could be patient and wait till 2026 to pull the trigger on the position. Either way, adding Membou to their offensive line will make it so they are ready to protect whoever they elect to make their quarterback of the future when the time comes.

New Giants QB Jameis Winston took Saquon Barkley’s advice from Super Bowl LIX

Leading up to Super Bowl LIX, Jameis Winston asked Philadelphia Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley a very important question.  "I'm a free agent. I really don't have a job. Who should sign me in free agency," Winston asked.  And Barkley's reply showed that he still has love for his former team.  "I think New […]
