Free agency is largely in the rearview mirror, and most of the big names have inked a deal. With depth charts mostly set, the 2025 NFL Draft is now the top priority for fans and teams. We've done the prep work since the start of the 2024 college football season to make sure you're ready for April's three-day marathon.
Our seven-round 2025 NFL mock draft blends my own evaluations with how I see team needs and what I've heard from league personnel. Of course, all 257 picks will be exactly right as you'd expect. Just don't hold me to that.
We'll surely see some trades and more signings before the first round kicks off, but this seven-round beast captures how I see things should shake out.
7-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft
1) Tennessee Titans: Cameron Ward, QB, Miami (FL)
Trade talks around the No. 1 pick have all but died, and I think that's because the Titans are more than comfortable with Cameron Ward here. Ward has the physical traits to be an excellent quarterback but must find balance within his play style. There's a lot of Jordan Love to his game, which brings high peaks and low valleys.
2) Cleveland Browns: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Cleveland seems perfectly content to land Shedeur Sanders if Ward is off the board. No position will help Kevin Stefanski and this front office save their positions beyond 2025 more than a quarterback. Sanders is more cerebral and mentally pro-ready than Ward, so the athletic sacrifice is easier to swallow for Cleveland because of the scheme they run. There's no better fit in terms of personality, leadership, and work ethic than Cleveland and Sanders.
3) New York Giants: Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
Scouts highly regard Armand Membou, and for good reason. He demonstrates remarkable length and athleticism while playing tackle and guard, effectively leveraging his abilities against defenders. His game footage is striking, and his experience outshines that of many other prospects in this class. The Giants would prefer a quarterback, but Membou is a building block to stick at right tackle for years to come.
4) New England Patriots: Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
Abdul Carter is the best player in the class, but team needs dictate his minor fall. New England will happily grab him if he's not taken earlier. Carter's a foundational building block, which the Patriots desperately lack on its defense.
5) Jacksonville Jaguars: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
One of the more interesting takeaways from the Combine is that teams are more split than originally reported on what position Travis Hunter will primarily play. Hunter wants to continue playing every snap on both sides of the ball, but that's unlikely given the physicality of the NFL and extended schedule compared to college. If he's on the board, Jacksonville will benefit from the leadership and work ethic Hunter exudes on top of being an elite performer at whichever spot he's at.
6) Las Vegas Raiders: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
Ashton Jeanty has become the popular pick here, but the Raiders have to give Geno Smith better receivers first. Tetairoa McMillan can be the primary weapon next to Brock Bowers, offering a huge wingspan and gliding ability to find yards after the catch.
7) New York Jets: Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
Myles Garrett and Mario Williams were The only athletes to match what Shemar Stewart did at the draft at his size. Those are two former No. 1 picks who were big hits for their respective franchises. Shemar Stewart didn't produce the same on the field as Garrett and Williams in college, though, totaling 4.5 sacks. The Jets can afford to take that risk at a huge positional need.
8) Carolina Panthers: Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
The Panthers have emerged as a suitor for Tyler Warren, but they could go in any direction and fill a hole. After a decent enough pro day, Mykel Williams is still probably the third-best pass-rushing prospect in the class. The Panthers have a ton of picks later on to take stabs at other needs, so this could be a foundational class for them.
9) New Orleans Saints: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
No team spends as recklessly as New Orleans does, but it'd be hard to blame them for grabbing Tyler Warren here. The board has good talent at other important positions, but Warren has the highest grade besides Jeanty. A tremendously explosive presence with good blocking ability, Warren is a top-five talent in the class.
10) Chicago Bears: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
You have to give credit to Ben Johnson and Ryan Poles for overhauling the offensive line in Chicago. They're free to take the best player on the board here, which is either Jeanty or Mason Graham. Jeanty earns the tiebreaker because, let's face it, having Caleb Williams with Jeanty is irresistible.
11) San Francisco 49ers: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
Mason Graham disappointed a little bit at the Combine with his measurements, weighing only 296 pounds compared to his listed number of 320. His film is still so good that it's unfair to push Graham much further down, but teams in this range can get their hopes up of landing a disruptive defensive tackle.
12) Dallas Cowboys: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
Adding more speed to this offense is a must, so it will directly influence Dallas' first two selections. Matthew Golden doesn't quite have the well-rounded game that Luther Burden does, but he's less confined as a slot prototype. Dallas doesn't want to overlap with CeeDee Lamb, so they opt for the local(ish) product.
13) Miami Dolphins: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
A mid-season injury and decision to sit out The Game against Ohio State and the Combine have zapped all of the hype and momentum around Will Johnson. That doesn't mean he's not the top pure corner in the class, but there's room for a discussion now. The Dolphins desperately need to add impact talent to its secondary.
14) Indianapolis Colts: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
There's a lot of talk about Jalon Walker's ability to be a versatile star at linebacker and on the edge, but Jihaad Campbell is even better in the role. He also has the size advantage, so I'm not sure why the hype isn't the same. The Colts know the value of a high-end linebacker and would maximize Campbell's massive potential.
15) Atlanta Falcons: Jalon Walker, LB/EDGE, Georgia
The trade for Matthew Judon did not work out, resulting in Atlanta's pressing need for a pass-rusher with this pick. Jalon Walker offers great value at this point, even if he is considered a bit undersized at 6-foot-2 and 245 pounds for a primary edge defender. However, his capability to excel as a three-down player stands out, owing to his strong skills as an off-ball linebacker, showcasing his remarkable versatility.
16) Arizona Cardinals: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
Kenneth Grant has fans within the top 10 picks, but he could also slide to the end of Round 1, so he's the owner of the most difficult range to predict. A physical beast at 6-foot-3 and 340 pounds, Grant wins with tremendous strength and more agility than you'd expect from a nose tackle. However, he's a little more Jordan Davis than Jalen Carter as an athlete, so it's possible he slides into the teens. Arizona desperately needs an injection of explosive youth along the interior line, and Grant fits the bill.
17) Cincinnati Bengals: Will Campbell, OL, LSU
How the NFL treats Will Campbell's arm length will directly impact his draft range. He has a similar arm length to some of the best-left tackles in NFL history, including Joe Thomas, Bryan Bulaga, and Duane Brown. However, the league can be finicky about sub-34-inch arms. If he falls, Cincinnati can't hesitate to add a player who should be a phenomenal guard or tackle.
18) Seattle Seahawks: Nick Emmanwori, SAF, South Carolina
There's not a more Seattle pick than Nick Emmanwori. He's the best athlete in the class and one of the best all-time. His on-field play merits taking him much higher than this, but the NFL doesn't love safeties. The Seahawks could use an upgrade to build three-safety looks, so Emmanwori fills the shoes left by Kam Chancellor.
19) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
I believe James Pearce Jr. is being underestimated, as his run defense has faced some undue criticism. His tall, lean build still allows him to generate significant power, and his speed rush is among the best in the country. Tampa Bay must secure a cornerstone player in this class, and Pearce's potential for sacks makes him a great fit for that role.
20) Denver Broncos: Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
The 2025 running back class is ridiculously loaded, so it's telling that Omarion Hampton separated himself from the pack to become the RB2 behind Ashton Jeanty. No other back can match Hampton's blend of size (5-foot-11, 221 pounds), speed, overall explosiveness, and on-field production. He plays exactly as you'd hope, boasting a freight-train-like presence. Denver needs a boost to its declining ground game, and Hampton can maximize their offensive line.
21) Pittsburgh Steelers: Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss
The prospect of bringing Justin Fields back after an encouraging stint in 2024 is a positive for Pittsburgh, but throwing one dart at the position isn't enough. Jaxson Dart has separated himself as the QB3 with his pro-ready accuracy, confidence, experience, and athleticism. He doesn't have a high upside, but being a steady, borderline Pro Bowler could be enough to give the Steelers to win a Super Bowl.
22) Los Angeles Chargers: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
Emeka Egbuka fully embraces the "no block, no rock" adage that coaches live by, and Jim Harbaugh will love that. Egbuka is a high-end talent who will seamlessly fit into any NFL situation. Pairing him with Ladd McConkey would allow the Chargers to build a unique scheme that thrives at creating easy yards after the catch.
23) Green Bay Packers: Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina
It's not Green Bay's style to take an injured prospect, but Shavon Revel Jr. is too good to pass on. This secondary desperately needs athleticism and playmaking. If Revel was healthy, he'd push to be a top-five overall pick. It's worth rolling the dice on his torn ACL returning to 100%.
24) Minnesota Vikings: Azareye'h Thomas, CB, Florida State
Azareye'h Thomas only took part in position drills and the broad jump, but he walked away a winner to emerge as a viable option in this range. Standing 6-foot-2 and proving to be fluid enough to handle fast-breaking routes in drill work, Thomas will be coveted. Brian Flores is the best in the NFL at getting the most out of players with one especially strong skill and then mitigating their weaknesses.
25) Houston Texans: Grey Zabel, OC, North Dakota State
Houston's offensive line overhaul isn't done yet. With the center position needing more natural ability than what Jarrett Patterson can give, Grey Zabel is the perfect fit and value. The athletic run-mauler can be Houston's version of Travis Frederick for a decade.
26) Los Angeles Rams: Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
I don't buy the top 15 hype for Jahdae Barron. Shorter slot defenders aren't worth that investment level. However, Barron's versatility and playmaking would be maximized with the Rams, and it's easier to accept what he is at this range. He reminds me a lot of Jaire Alexander.
27) Baltimore Ravens: Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss
Walter Nolen stood out at the Senior Bowl, showing off some great fluidity and explosiveness as a defensive tackle. While Mason Graham might have the upper hand in run defense and a more reliable game, Baltimore could be the perfect spot for Nolen to shine and develop. The question is whether he has the character to reach his ceiling.
28) Detroit Lions: Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
Some teams will pass on Mike Green's incredibly impressive resume because of some old character concerns and his lower level of competition, but Detroit is the type of franchise to bank on the film and his individual growth. Green logged 17 sacks and won 20% of his pass-rush snaps and then proved to be worthy of the expectations of a first-round pick with his Senior Bowl week performance. Detroit will almost certainly take a pass-rusher here, and Green is the right gamble.
29) Washington Commanders: Kelvin Banks, OT, Texas
I didn't plan on giving Washington a tackle after they invested so much into the Laremy Tunsil trade, but I love the possibility of Banks being a bookend with the veteran. Jayden Daniels needs more talent around him, and Kelvin Banks has the tools to be elite. He's still raw despite his effectiveness, but it's hard to imagine him losing out to a mediocre veteran in Andrew Wylie, even after a position change to the right side.
30) Buffalo Bills: TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State
Does Buffalo want to pay James Cook $15 million a year? While he's a good back, they'd be better off trading him for a pick and replacing him with a rookie who will earn as much over the duration of his first deal. TreVeyon Henderson is an elite pass-blocker and explosive playmaker. There's a decent shot he'll be the best back in this class if he goes to the right situation, which Buffalo is.
31) Kansas City Chiefs: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
There's no way Kansas City will start a rookie left tackle next to Kinglsey Suamataia in 2025, so they go with the logical replacement for Travis Kelce. Colston Loveland deserves to be picked higher, but it's a tough position to justify reaching on. This would be a home run.
32) Philadelphia Eagles: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
The Eagles already have two first-round picks at defensive tackle in Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis, but they still found Milton Williams 652 snaps along the defensive line in 2024. Their rotation and varied alignments worked perfectly. With Williams set to bolt in free agency, Derrick Harmon can replenish the well with similar translatable moves and tools. Harmon is by far the most productive interior rusher, so this is a great value.
Round 2
