The New York Giants will once again be without their starting quarterback.
According to head coach Brian Daboll, quarterback Daniel Jones will not play on Sunday and it will be Tyrod Taylor who gets the start.
This is the third consecutive week that Jones will be sidelined.
He is dealing with a neck injury that he suffering during the Giants 31-16 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 8.
With Taylor in the pocket for the past two games, he has led the Giants to one win over the Washington Commanders and one loss to the Buffalo Bills.
New York Daily News Sports' Pat Leonard further reported that Daboll did not give a straight answer when asked if Jones will be able to return this season.
So far this season, Jones has 104 completions for 884 passing yards and 2 touchdowns along with 38 carries for 197 rushing yards and one touchdown. It's safe to say this season has been a little disappointing for the fifth-year quarterback.
And that comes after he signed a four-year, $160 million contract extension with the Giants prior to the start of this season.
The Giants are currently last in the NFC East with a 2-5 record after finishing the 2022 season with a 9-7 record and clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2016.
It will be a battle of the backup quarterbacks, with Zach Wilson replacing Aaron Rodgers and Taylor coming in for Jones.
