New York Jets trade up for their franchise QB, fill massive roster holes with difference makers in latest 3-round 2026 NFL mock draft
Latest 3-round 2026 NFL mock draft gifts the New York Jets the keys to their future.
The New York Jets are a franchise that seemingly has the perfect blueprint for a rebuild. Not only do they have five first-round selections over the next two draft classes, but head coach Aaron Glenn also has his team playing a ton better since trading away Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams. With a clear vision and assets to overhaul this roster, the future is as bright as it has been with this organization in quite some time.
For the 2026 NFL Draft, there is a lot of optimism for the Jets to find their franchise quarterback, as well as fill key holes in the roster. They accomplished both of those objectives in the latest three-round 2026 NFL mock draft. A trade was a part of the formula for putting together a tremendous haul.
New York Jets 3-round mock draft
(New York Jets trade the No. 4 overall selection and a 2027 first round selection to trade up with the Tennessee Titans for the No. 1 overall selection.)
Round 1, Pick 1: Dante Moore, QB, Oregon
The former UCLA transfer profited big time during his one year backing up Dillon Gabriel. Moore is a cool customer inside the pocket, having a subtle confidence to him with loads of arm talent to work with. If Moore chooses to declare for the 2026 class, he has a very good shot to fight to be the top quarterback selected against guys like Fernando Mendoza (Indiana) and Ty Simpson (Alabama).
Round 1, Pick 28: Kayden McDonald, DT, Ohio State
At 6-3 and 327 pounds, McDonald is nearly impossible to move at the point of attack. He has been one of the breakout stars for the Buckeyes this season, and honestly, he isn’t getting nearly the recognition that he deserves. The reason that Arvell Reese and Sonny Styles continue to make as many plays as they do is because of big No. 98 in the middle.
Round 2, Pick 35: Chris Brazzell II, WR, Tennessee
At around 6-5 and 200 pounds, Brazzell is the outside separator that the Jets need. While Garrett Wilson is fantastic, he is more of a slot-Z type that really wins with his route running and after-catch ability. Adding some impact size to complement Wilson would be very advantageous for the offense moving forward, especially one that can win vertically like Brazzell.
Round 2, Pick 48: Brandon Cisse, CB, South Carolina
Cisse has been one of the biggest risers in the 2026 cornerback class so far this season. The former NC State standout has experience playing both on the outside and in the slot in his college career. That versatility makes the talented defender a very attractive commodity.
