The Philadelphia Eagles return to the practice field on Wednesday after an early bye week.
Philly has struggled this season and currently holds a disappointing 2-2 record heading into Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns, which puts them third in the NFC East.
The good news is that there is still plenty of time for the Birds to turn the ship around and get back on the winning track.
And these three players can help them do so.
Wide Receiver A.J. Brown
Wide receiver A.J. Brown seems like an obvious one but his return from a hamstring injury will be pivotal for the team's turnaround.
The Eagles have been without their top receiver for three weeks now and his absence on offense has been felt.
The thing is that nobody on the team has better chemistry with quarterback Jalen Hurts than Brown does.
With Brown in the lineup, Hurts has a passer rating of 94.4, Without Brown, his passer rating drops to 85.2, per StatMuse.
Inside Linebacker Zack Baun
Insider linebacker Zack Baun was worth his own article on Monday.
That's because he has been the biggest bright spot on the Eagles' defense that has struggled in tackling this season.
Baun currently leads the defense with 43 tackles, two sacks, and two tackles for loss and is currently a top-ten tackler in the NFL.
If there is one defender you can count on to fly all over the field and throw his body on the line for the Birds, it's Baun.
Cornerback Quinyon Mitchell
And then there's rookie cornerback Quinyon Mitchell.
Mitchell has played like a veteran as opposed to a rookie.
Through four games so far, Mitchell has logged 18 total tackles (15 solo) and six passes defended.
Nick Sirianni has repeatedly said that there is no moment "too big" for Mitchell and we saw that against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when he was tasked with keeping up with Mike Evans. And he did.
