The Philadelphia Eagles have some tough decisions to make over the next few days as the get their current 90-man roster down to 53

Other than cutting their own players, the Eagles are going to look across the league and see who else they could add from other teams' roster cuts in order to perfect their own.

Here are three players the Eagles might consider adding that could bolster their depth chart.

Carolina Panthers: Cade Mays, OG

The Eagles could use the some extra depth along the offensive line at guard as they deal with injuries to guards Trevor Keegan and Tyler Steen.

That's where Cade Mays could come in. Mays played 435 snaps on offense last season for Carolina, but after they added better guards in free agency, then he might be up for grabs come cutdown day.

Mays would not only offer depth at guard but also flexibility at center behind Cam Jurgens.

Atlanta Falcons: DeAngelo Malone, Edge

The Eagles' pass rush might not be up to standard as many originally thought it would be heading into the offseason. So, we can expect the Eagles to look outside the box to add some help that area.

DeAngelo Malone could be a name to watch out for this week. Malone didn't play much on defense for the Atlanta Falcons in 2023, but he was a special teams standout playing 364 snaps. He logged 29 tackles with four tackles for loss, had two QB hits and a sack across 15 games.

Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio just needs someone with athleticism and grit to transform them and Malone has that, along with his special teams value.

Cincinnati Bengals: Maema Njongmeta, LB

Maema Njongmeta is another player that could potentially benefit the Eagles' pass rush.

Njongmeta had a solid preseason with the Cincinnati Bengals, leading the team in tackles with 17 over the first two preseason games. However given the fact that he's so far down the depth chart it's likley the 2024 undrafted free agent doesn't make the cut.

Before entering the league, Njongmeta was as standout at Wisconsin where he played in all 13 games with 10 starts in 2023, totaling 59 tackles (30 solos), with 8.5 for loss and three sacks, one pass defended and three fumble recoveries.
