What if the Philadelphia Eagles did not address their secondary needs with their first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft like many analysts believe they will and instead drafted another weapon for quarterback Jalen Hurts?

That's exactly what A to Z Sports' NFL analyst Destin Adams sees happening in his latest mock draft ahead of the NFL Scouting Combine

Adams has the Eagles using their No. 22 overall pick on Georgia wide receiver Ladd McConkey:

"I know, I know another Georiga Bulldog to the Eagles. But the Eagles offense went from one of the most exciting units in the NFL in 2022 to a stagnant mess in 2023. Ladd McConkey out of Georiga is a quick route-winning WR and can be a safety blanket for an NFL team from day one, in my opinion. I think this style of WR would be huge for the Eagles, allowing A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith to do what they do best: work on the outside and downfield to make big plays for Jalen Hurts," – A to Z Sports' Destin Adams

With Quez Watkins and Olamanid Zacheaus set to hit NFL free agency come March, the Eagles have a need at slot wide receiver — which is where McConkey fits in.

However, McConkey's versatility allows him to play both in the slot and outside if needed, making him an even more intriguing pick.

The Bulldog product enters the 2024 NFL Draft after logging 26 catches for 418 yards and a touchdown last fall. His best year came during Georgia's National Championship run in 2022, when he achieved 58 catches for 762 yards with seven touchdowns. He also added 134 yards and two more scores on the ground.

If the Eagles choose to take the best available player at No. 22 over their biggest need, then McConkey could be that guy.
