It is time to celebrate on a Wednesday for the Philadelphia Eagles. One of their favorite offensive plays in the playbook was hanging in the balance around the league.
The Tush Push was on the table as a potential play to ban by the NFL. Instead, Philly will get to keep calling it in 2025 after the votes were revealed this morning.
Eagles rejoice after Tush Push votes are revealed
Shortly after the announcement that the ban failed, the Eagles posted a great message on their social media. It simply said "Push On." with an image of quarterback Jalen Hurts.
They followed it up with a hilarious array of memes on an Instagram slide show post, too. The social media admin for Philly was clearly prepared for the surprising outcome from the voting.
Plenty of NFL media expected that the Tush Push would be banned with this round of voting. Clearly, teams kept their ideals on the play fairly hush-hush.

Jason Kelce was confident in the Eagles' ability to succeed with or without the play in their offense when discussing the potential ban, ahead of the vote reveal.
"This feels like it's the most legitimate chance it's had since they've been voting on it to be banned. I'll say this, I'm actually going to Minnesota," Kelce said. "So there's some things said at the last Owners Meetings. Some of the owners and coaches hinted that the reason I stopped playing was because of the tush push and that I got hurt on the tush push frequently."
"I don't care if it gets banned or not. I think that at the end of the day, this is why you vote on things. And if they vote to ban the tush push, the Eagles are still going to run quarterback sneaks at a very high percentage," he added. The vote was a 22-10 tally around the NFL. The Tush Push isn't going anywhere yet, and Eagles fans can rejoice.
